"Father God,
We come to You, God of gods and Lord of lords, the Creator of all things, in a time of crisis, peril, and mourning. You have wisely, and truthfully told us that "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Our nation, the greatest on earth, has had a sudden reality check. We come to You, the Father of this great nation, as a nation, and as individuals. Let us not forsake your way! We have abandoned your truth and hope by banning Your Ten Commandments from public eye, by not allowing our teachers and students to speak to You; or learn about what You have done, by allowing mothers to kill their own unborn children, and by teaching that gay is okay. Lord, let us be like Nineveh that took heed of Jonah and turned from their wicked ways. Let us, too, turn from our wickedness and become Your nation again. God bless America.
