Hey out there to everyone in web land!
 We've got yet another great edition of the
  zine, and as you may have noticed, things
   won't be as crowded as last week. :)
    I have a few things I want to say, so let's
     hurry before I forget. :)  First, Generation
      God.net will be closing their doors forever,
       and will become Generation God eXtreme!
      More this, more that, more yin, more yang,
     and the webmaster put it best when he said
    "It will be the same, but different." The
   site will also have a few new features, but
  that's a secret! :o)

 Uh-oh, I'm already starting to forget. Let's
  see, now....oh, that's right!
   Last week I told you about a site, the Bible
    site. And I specifically said this:

"Right now, I want to take some time out to tell
 you about an awesome site!
 It's called "the Bible site." By now I'm sure
 you've heard of a similar site called the Hunger
 site(http://www.thehungersite.com ) where you
 click a button to donate some food to third
 world countries. The way they afford it is that
 they have ads from generous sponsors that want
 to help feed starving people and maybe pick up
 a few customers along the way. Well, the Bible
 site has the same concept. Except, they treat a
 different hunger. One that has a grip on
 millions of persecuted Christians. The hunger
 for God's holy word, you guessed it, the Bible.
 You click the button and donate 1 book of the
 Bible. It costs nothing and takes very little
 time. Today's goal is 1320 books of the Bible,
 with over 1,200 subscibers to the C Zine, if
 everyone here donates, that goal is very
 possible.

   Unfortuneatly, in all the crowds and confusion,
    most of you forgot! That's alright, though,
     because you can still beat that goal. Everyday,

                       ::Inspirational Story::
                             ::The Bird Cage::

There once was a man named George Thomas, a 
pastor in a small New England 
town. One Easter 
Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying 
a rusty, 
bent, old bird cage, and set it by 
the pulpit. Several eyebrows were raised 
and, 
as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak.

"I was walking through town yesterday when 
I saw a young boy coming toward 
me, swinging 
this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage 
were three little 
wild birds, shivering with 
cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, 

"What you got there son?"

"Just some old birds," came the reply.

"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked.

"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em. I'm 
gonna tease 'em and pull out 
their feathers 
to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time."

"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner 
or later. What will you do 
then?"

"Oh, I got some cats. They like birds. I'll 
take 'em to them."

The pastor was silent for a moment. "How 
much do you want for those birds, 
son?"

"Huh??!!! Why, you don't want them birds, 
mister. They're just plain old 
field birds. 
They don't sing - they ain't even pretty!"

"How much?"

The boy sized up the pastor as if he 
were crazy and said, "$10?".

The pastor reached in his pocket and took 
out a ten dollar bill. He placed 
it in 
the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.

The pastor picked up the cage and gently 
carried it to the end of the alley 
where 
there was a tree and a grassy spot. 
Setting the cage down, he opened 
the 
door, and by softly tapping the bars 
persuaded the birds out, setting 
them free.

Well, that explained the empty bird cage 
on the pulpit, and then the pastor 
began 
to tell this story.

One day Satan and Jesus were having a 
conversation. Satan had just come 
from 
the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating 
and boasting.

"Yes, sir, I just caught the world full 
of people down there. Set me a 
trap, 
used bait I knew they couldn't resist. 
Got 'em all!"

"What are you going to do with them?" 
Jesus asked.

"Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach 
them how to marry and divorce 
each other. 
How to hate and abuse each other. How to 
drink and smoke and 
curse. How to invent 
guns and bombs and kill each other. 
I'm really gonna 
have fun!"

"And what will you do when you get done 
with them?", Jesus asked.

"Oh, I'll kill 'em."

"How much do you want for them?"

"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't 
no good. Why, you take them 
and they'll just 
hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you 
and kill you!! 
You don't want those people!!"

"How much?"

Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your 
tears, and all your blood....Your 
life is the price."

Jesus paid the price.

The pastor picked up the cage he opened 
the door and he walked from the 
pulpit.

First off.....I was always skeptical of believing
 in something that I couldn't see....I always felt
 and knew there was some sort of higher power
 that existed, but I could never be sure until
 I experienced first hand the love and security
 that comes from being born again......losing
 the old life of many faults, mistakes and sheer
 stupidity to receiving the true love.....true
 unconditional love that only Christ can
 offer....so on that note....

I have several testimonies actually that I can
 share, but these are my favorites.....the first
 one is I had been driving out of state to a
 Gospel Music Association Conference to which
 I attended. I left late on a Sunday night,
 was tired and was just not feeling well. Well,
 I got lost - driving down unfamiliar roads,
 it was dark and rather desolate and I could not
 find the beltway for the life of me. What did
 I do? I prayed to the Lord for guidance....and
 the Lord knows I was not going to just roll
 down my car window and ask any Joe Shmo on
 the street in the wee hours which direction
 to travel. I came to a light and a vehicle
 pulled up next to me....the only one on the
 road and guess what...it turned out to be an
 ambulance! I felt secure and safe enough to
 roll down the window and ask directions.
 The driver was courteous and stated that
 I should take a left right here at the light
 we were sitting at (he was in the right lane 
 next to me). When the light 
turned green,
 I made my left and turned back to wave, but
 the ambulance was gone! I looked in all
 directions and it was not anywhere to be
 found! It literally disappeared!
 Needless to say the directions were
 great and I was on my way home where
 I got home around 2 AM in the morning.
 I Thank the Lord Jesus for coming to my
 rescue! I thank the Lord by way of music
 - I have a Christian Hard Rock Band that
 we minister to young adults to try and get
 to know the Lord. I praise God and thank
 Him daily for my spiritual gifts of music.

In another instance.....this is actually 
 one from our former Youth Minister 
of our
 Church....I tell this story because again
 - God knows all! Our youth minister was
 new to the area and did not have a job
 at the time, he was searching for one.
 He was married with two babies and one
 day he was on his way to the grocery
 store to pick up the essentials....diapers,
 formula, etc and had a craving for milk.
 Well, being on a tight budget and loving
 milk as he does, he just couldn't justify
 getting milk, when his kids and wife were
 in need. As he exited the store he recalls
 thinking how he had this incredible craving
 for milk. As he started to enter the
 parking lot to get to his car, a woman
 standing on the curb was holding two gallons
 of milk and shouted "can anybody use a
 gallon of milk? I bought two, and for the
 life of me I don't know why, I can't use
 it".......Well, needless to say, another
 prayer has been answered - my friend and
 Youth Minister was stunned - happily and
 praised the Lord for satisfying is need,
 even though it was a small request, the
 Lord came through!

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for the big 
 things and the small things - 
irregardless 
 they are all from His heart to yours.

                              ::The new suit::

A guy was being sold a very cheap suit.

"But the left arm is a lot longer than the 
right arm," he complained.

"That's why the suit is such a bargain," 
the sales clerk explained. "Just 
cock your 
left shoulder up a little, like this, and 
tuck this left lapel 
under your chin a bit, 
like this."

"But the right leg is way too short," 
argued the customer.

"No problem," the sales clerk answered. 
"Just keep your right knee bent 
a little 
at all times, walk like this, and no one 
will notice. That's 
why this suit is only 
thirty dollars."

Finally, the fellow bought the suit, cocked 
his left shoulder into the 
air, tucked the 
suit's left lapel under his chin, bent his 
right knee, 
and limped out of the store 
toward his car.

Two doctors happened along and noticed him.

"Good heavens," the first doctor said to 
the second, "look at that poor 
crippled fellow."

"Yeah," answered the second doctor. "But 
doesn't that suit fit great?"

easy to get,
  just ask Him you want it.  Commit your life 
  to Him, and He will greatly 

reward you.
      Will you pray?
"Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner. I need forgiveness. 
    I am sorry 

for my sins and I don't want to sin against You 
  anymore. I believe You 

are the Son of God and You died on 
the cross for MY sins. I also believe 

that you rose from the dead 
so that I, too, may have victory over the grave. 

Please forgive me 
now Lord and cleanse me. Come into my heart and give 

me a new 
life. Thank You, Jesus, for shedding your blood for me and for 
                         
hearing
                   and answering my prayer. Amen"

  Creator of the Universe.  It's a humbling
