AJ's Testimony

My site is Christian Internet Resources and the geek behind it is me, Andrew(just call me AJ). I've been wanting to share how it all began, and to be honest, there isn't much to say.

I got interested in computers when we got our first one, back in the beginning of '98. That's still my only lifeline to the net, and it's as obsolete today as it was then. :) At first I was obsessed with reading everything(and I do mean everything!) in Microsoft Encarta and Bookshelf.

After a week I got bored and decided to try the net. I surfed and surfed some more until I found it, too, rather boring. So I decided to make my own site. After a few months, I created it. It was called File Creating, I don't know exactly why, I never really had much on how to make files. :)

I eventually found Christianlinks.com (a Christian search engine) and wanted to submit my site. In the terms it said you must in some way show that the site is Christian owned. I didn't have that, so, at the top, I put "I love Jesus Christ" in big letters and linked it to the salvation message.

Ever since then, I've wanted to tell more and more people about my Savior. If it hadn't been for that one line, I probably wouldn't have gone into witnessing and wouldn't have created CIR. Amazing how God can use anyone or thing to do His will. One of my favorite verses is

Ephesians 6:5-8: "Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free."[NKJV]

What I do when working on CIR, or anything else for that matter, is work for the Lord. And that gives me the responsibility of giving my all. I think that's what separates the sincere Christian sites from everybody else. I have given my best, I have done what Christ has called me to do, and in that way I glorify Him, which is what we should all want to do. I enjoy my "job" and hope that I can continue bringing more people to Christ.
