                                   ::Updates::
As you may have noticed, the C Zine wasn't
sent yesterday like it usually is! I have had
a nasty cold over this week, add stress to that
and you've got a huge double whammy! As the post
office says, nether sleet nor snow nor rain
will stop the mail!(except, maybe, saturdays!)
The same goes for the C Zine!(except for the
saturday part!)

Any whos, I have been working on a brand new
site design! You can check out the preveiw at
https://ajcorp.tripod.com/cir/news.html
One of the cool(it doesn't take much to impress
me :) ) things about it is that I will totally
overhaul the navigation menu so that navigation
will be much easier!
I have also been working on a brand new site
that will feature ______!(you don't to find out
about it until I release it!)

                               Enjoy the zine!

                       ::Inspirational Story::
                                 ::The Water::

It was one of the hottest days of the dry season.
We had not seen rain
in almost a month. The crops
were dying. Cows had stopped giving milk.
The creeks
and streams were long gone back into the earth. It
was a dry
season that would bankrupt several
farmers before it was through. Every
day, my
husband and his brothers would go about the
arduous process of
trying to get water to the
fields. Lately this process had involved taking
a
truck to the local water rendering plant and filling
it up with water.
But severe rationing had cut everyone
off. If we didn't see some rain soon...we
would lose everything.
It was on this day that I learned the true lesson
of sharing and
witnessed the only miracle I have seen with my own eyes.

I was in the kitchen making lunch for my husband and his
brothers when
I saw my six-year old son, Billy, walking
toward the woods. He wasn't walking
with the usual carefree
abandon of a youth but with a serious purpose.
I could only
see his back. He was obviously walking with a great
effort...trying
to be as still as possible. Minutes
after he disappeared into the woods,
he came running
out again, toward the house. I went back to making
sandwiches;
thinking that whatever task he had been
doing was completed. Moments later,
however, he was
once again walking in that slow purposeful stride
toward
the woods.

This activity went on for an hour: walk carefully
to the woods, run back
to the house. Finally I
couldn't take it any longer and I crept out of

the house and followed him on his journey (being
very careful not to be
seen...as he was obviously
doing important work and didn't need his mommy
checking up
on him). He was cupping both hands in front of him as he
walked;
being very careful not to spill the water he held
in them...maybe two or
three tablespoons were held in
his tiny hands. I sneaked close as he went
into the
woods. Branches and thorns slapped his little face but
he did
not try to avoid them. He had a much higher
purpose. As I leaned in to
spy on him, I saw the most
amazing site. Several large deer loomed in front
of
him. Billy walked right up to them. I almost screamed
for him to get
away. A huge buck with elaborate antlers
was dangerously close. But the
buck did not threaten
him...he didn't even move as Billy knelt down. And
I
saw a tiny fawn laying on the ground, obviously suffering
from dehydration
and heat exhaustion, lift its head with
great effort to lap up the water
cupped in my beautiful boy's hand.

When the water was gone, Billy jumped up to run back to
the house and I
hid behind a tree. I followed him back
to the house; to a spigot that we
had shut off the
water to. Billy opened it all the way up and a small

trickle began to creep out. He knelt there, letting the
drip, drip slowly
fill up his makeshift "cup" as the sun beat
down on his little back. And
it came clear to me. The
trouble he had gotten into for playing with the
hose
the week before. The lecture he had received about the
importance
of not wasting water. The reason he didn't
ask me to help him. It took
almost twenty minutes for
the drops to fill his hands. When he stood up
and began
the trek back, I was there in front of him. His little
eyes
just filled with tears. "I'm not wasting," was all he
said. As he began
his walk, I joined him...with a small
pot of water from the kitchen. I
let him tend to the fawn.
I stayed away. It was his job. I stood on the
edge of the
woods watching the most beautiful heart I have ever known
working so hard to save another life. As the tears that
rolled down my
face began to hit the ground, they were
suddenly joined by other drops...and
more drops...and more.
I looked up at the sky. It was as if God Himself
was
weeping with pride. Some will probably say that this
was all just
a huge coincidence. That miracles don't
really exist. That it was bound
to rain sometime. And
I can't argue with that...I'm not going to try. All

I can say is that the rain that came that day saved our
farm...just like
that actions of one little boy saved another.

                            ::You wanna web?::
Third in Four Part Series-"So you wanna webpage?"

We discussed in the second part of this series how, and how not to
create a web site. In part three of this series we will discuss some of

the
tools available for you to use out on the web to enhance your site. Many

of
these tools can be found for free, however, those that are free are usually
the tools that carry ads. As a webmaster you must carefully weigh the pros
and cons of carrying a service that shows content "banner ads" that you

may
have little or no control over. These tools, when used properly, can
dynamically enhance the content and functionality of your website in ways
that were never possible for us the small web designer. Dynamic content,
email, search engines, community boards, chats, and auctions are just a

few
of the free plug in features that you can offer to your visitors, all with
the hopes that they will use it and return to use your resources again.

I
will list off some sites and what they offer to you the webmaster. I won't
go into to much detail because it will be up to you to go visit them if

you
are interested in a particular service.

1) http://www.everyone.net - This site offers some wonderful plug in options
that give the user great flexibility in terms of integration and site
presentation. All of it's features are very easy to ad to your site no
matter what your level of experience. With this service you can offer:
-Your domain email in a web based format
-Community forums and chat rooms
-A search engine on your site that searches multiple major engines at one
time
-And last but not least, third party ad-sales where you get money for
showing banners on your site (all be it not very much at the present time)

2) http://www.multicity.com - This is a site I recently discovered. Just

as
with Everyone.net MultiCity offers multiple free plug-in tools that are

easy
to customize, all for free. MultiCity offers:
-Full function chat rooms
-An instant messenger that is compatible with ICQ, Yahoo! and MSN (not
aolIM)
-Plug-in auction
-a Message Board
-People Profiles (Not available yet but slated for release)

3) http://www.moreover.com - We discussed this site a little in our last
issue. Moreover dynamically generates news headlines in real time and offers
a great and easy way to add free content to your site.

4) http://www.atomz.com - Offers an amazing and extremely customizable
search engine which you can add to your site that will present searches

of
your content as professionally as yahoo! does of the web. They even send

you
monthly tracking reports of what your visitors searched for in your site.
Great Service!

5) http://cirw.cjb.net - Christian Internet Resource [ I can talk about

it
because it's not my site :0) ] offers some great tools for beefing up a
Christian site.
-The online CBible (Customizable and searchable)
-Daily Verse Generator
-Random Verse Generator
-Salvation Invitation

6) http://www.crosswalk.com/info/link/0,6351,1,00.htm - Crosswalk.com is
another online Christian Site that offers free web tools.
-Bible/Reference Search
-My investigator (Allows you to search and track finances and portfolios)
-Goshen Web Search that is a safe search of thousands of Christian sites
-Religion Today News and audio - Religion Today is an extensive weekday

news
report covering church-state issues, religious freedom and persecution,
evangelism, and revival from around the world. (Can you tell I took cut

and
copied that description?)

The services that have been listed are all free, however, they do come
with ads (for the most part). If you want to use the services without ads,
then you may have to pay money for those services. Many of the services

can
be paid for on a monthly basis in order to avoid ads and the appearance

of
another sites logo on your pages. You must determine your needs and your
resources to figure out what you need. I do, however, always recommend
getting the free version first, just in case you use it and find that it
meets your needs as is.

These tools, when used correctly, can dramatically increase the
"stickiness" of your site. You may find that the use of one or more of these
tools not only increases the return rate to your site(especially in the

case
of email), but also the amount of time the visitor actually spends using
your site. Hopefully this will help you create a more attractive and
affective site for the Lord.

Next time we will get into search engines, promotion, and the "How to's"
of getting people to your site in general.
Until then have fun and praise the Lord with your every action and
intention!

                    ::Dilbert Manager Quotes::

Dilbert Manager Quotes
A magazine ran a "Dilbert quotes" contest.
They were looking for people
to submit quotes from
their real-life Dilbert-type managers. Here are

the finalists. (Must have been hard choosing the winners)

1. What I need is a list of specific unknown
problems we will encounter.
(Lykes Lines Shipping)

2. E-mail is not to be used to pass on information or
data. It should be
used only for company business.
(Accounting manager, Electric Boat Company)

3. This project is so important, we can't let things
that are more important
interfere with it.
(Advertising/Marketing manager, United Parcel Service)

4. Doing it right is no excuse for not meeting the
schedule. No one will
believe you solved this problem
in one day! We've been working on it for
months. Now,
go act busy for a few weeks and I'll let you know when
it's
time to tell them.(R&D supervisor, Minnesota Mining

and Manufacturing/3M Corp.)

5. My boss spent the entire weekend retyping a
25-page proposal that needed
only corrections. She
claims the disk I gave her was damaged and she couldn't

edit it. The disk I gave her was write-protected. (CIO of Dell)

6. Quote from the boss: "Teamwork is a lot of people doing
what I say."
(Marketing executive, Citrix Corporation)

7. My sister passed away and her funeral was scheduled
for Monday. When
I told my boss, he said she died so
that I would have to miss work on the
busiest day of
the year. He then asked if we could change her burial
to
Friday. He said, "That would be better for me."
(Shipping executive, FTD
Florists)

8. "We know that communication is a problem, but
the company is not going
to discuss it with the
employees." (Switching supervisor, AT&T Long Lines
Division)

9. We recently received a memo from senior management,
saying: This is
to inform you that a memo will be issued
today regarding the subject mentioned
above."
(Microsoft, Legal Affairs Division)

10. One day my boss asked me to submit a status report
to him concerning
a project I was working on. I asked
him if tomorrow would be soon enough.
He said,
"If I wanted it tomorrow, I would have waited until
tomorrow
to ask for it!" (New business manager, Hallmark
Greeting Cards.)

11. As director of communications, I was asked to
prepare a memo reviewing
our company's training programs
and materials. In the body of the memo
I mentioned
the "pedagogical" (pedagogical refers to the art of teaching)

approach used by one of the training manuals.
The day after I routed the memo to the executive committee,
I was called
into the HR director's office, and told that
the executive vice president
wanted me out of the building by lunch.
When I asked why, I was told that she couldn't stand for
perverts (pedophilia)
working in her company.
Finally, he showed me her copy of the memo, with her demand
that I be fired
- and the word "pedagogical" circled in red.
The HR manager was fairly reasonable, and once he looked the
word up in
his dictionary and made a copy of the definition
to send back to her, he
told me not to worry.
He would take care of it. Two days later, a memo to the
entire staff came
out, directing us that no words which
could not be found in the local Sunday
newspaper could be
used in company memos. A month later, I resigned.
In accordance with company policy, I created my
resignation memo by pasting
words together from the
Sunday paper. (Taco Bell Corporation)

                              ::Jesus Christ::
Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal
  savior? Do feel like something

is missing
in your life? Do you feel like there is
no point to life, you have

nothing to live
for? Are you worried about your future?
You don't have to read horoscopes, or call
a psychic hotline to be comforted of your
  future. Instead, GOD loves

you. And He
wants only the best for you. He knows
  you inside and

out, even if you don't know
Him. He loves you unconditionally, no strings
are attached to His love. He loves you so
much that He died for you. He did it so
that you and I could spend

all eternity
with Him. Do you have Him as your savior?
He didn't say that we would have all the
  luxuries of this world, He

did say that He
would provide for us, if only we seek Him.
Do you have this wonderful gift called
  Salvation? If you don't, it's

easy to get,
just ask Him you want it. Commit your life
to Him, and He will greatly

reward you.
      Will you pray?
"Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner. I need forgiveness.
    I am sorry

for my sins and I don't want to sin against You
  anymore. I believe You

are the Son of God and You died on
the cross for MY sins. I also believe

that you rose from the dead
so that I, too, may have victory over the grave.

Please forgive me
now Lord and cleanse me. Come into my heart and give

me a new
life. Thank You, Jesus, for shedding your blood for me and for

hearing
                   and answering my prayer. Amen"

  If you've just prayed

that, you are a Child
of GOD. Think about that! A child of the
Creator of the Universe. It's a humbling
experience. If you have anything you
want to know about your new life

with Christ,

A Life Transformed
I lived my life with reckless abandon, like there would be, no tomorrow. I lived life on the edge, engaging death as a playmate. If death came, then that too, I'd hoped in it's finality, would be the ultimate experience I craved. Maybe in death, I could finally realize the meaning of life.
